Registration/Rider Check-In

You will be assisting the Registration Lead during Rider Check-In with checking riders on a list and handing out wristbands, helping with same day registrations, and overall rider support.

Moto Driver

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

This position consists of the moto driver carrying a passenger along the route to patrol the route and keep an eye out on specific areas. Must be able to bring a helmet for the passenger.

Rest Stop #1 - Two Rock Presbyterian Church

GPS Coordinates: 38°15'26.4"N 122°46'47.5"W

It is a 20-min drive from Lagunitas. You will use your own vehicle to get to the aid station. The shift hours include the drive time to and from the rest stop.

When you arrive at the rest stop, you will help set up the tent, food and drinks, and get everything ready before the first riders come through. A staff person from Cadence will be on-site and be your lead, if you have any questions.

The first rider is expected around 8:30 AM, and the last rider around 11:05 AM.

One volunteer's role will be to keep track of the riders coming through the rest stop, with a bib number list and clicker.

At the end of the shift, you will help break down and pack up the the rest stop.

SAG (Driver + Navigator)

Details

We are looking for duos (Driver + Navigator), but you can sign up by yourself and be paired up with another solo SAG Volunteer.

You will be driving a rented Support And Gear (SAG) vehicle to assist the riders along the courses. You will carry basic supplies such as water, electrolytes, tubes, chain lube and a first aid kit, and be in constant communication with the Technical Director in Command.

Please indicate in the comments if you are a HAM Operator.

Rest Stop #2 - Windrush Farms on Chileno Valley Road

It is a 15-min drive from Lagunitas. You will use your own vehicle to get to the aid station. The shift hours include the drive time to and from the rest stop.

When you arrive at the rest stop, you will help set up the tent, food and drinks, and get everything ready before the first riders come through. A staff person from Cadence will be on-site to support, if you have any questions.

The first rider is expected around 9:10 AM, and the last rider around 12:24 PM.

One volunteer's role will be to keep track of the riders coming through the rest stop, with a bib number list and clicker.

After 10:30 AM, all riders will be redirected to the Medium (35 mi) course.

At the end of the shift, you will help break down and pack up the the rest stop.

Rest Stop #3 - Tomales Park in Tomales, CA

It is a 25-min drive from Lagunitas. You will use your own vehicle to get to the aid station. The access to the park will be via Valley St. The shift hours include the drive time to and from the rest stop.

When you arrive at the rest stop, you will help set up the tent, food and drinks, and get everything ready before the first riders come through. A staff person from Cadence will be on-site, if you have any questions.

The first rider is expected around 9:55 AM, and the last rider around 1:30 PM.

One volunteer's role will be to keep track of the riders coming through the rest stop, with a bib number list and clicker.

At the end of the shift, you will help break down and pack up the the rest stop.

Bike Parking

Details

You will assist riders in dropping off their bike in the Bike Parking area, and watch the bikes while riders are enjoying the post-ride festivities.

Finish Line Tracker

Details

You will be posted at the Finish Line at Lagunitas, and will keep track of the riders finishing, with a provided list of bib numbers and a clicker, to make sure every rider makes it back.
