Details

Work in a two-person team, variable shifts, at one of seven course intersections. Help direct cyclists, warn riders of turns and traffic. Course instructions and a brief pre-ride meeting will be provided. Swag & a great lunch!

Motorcycle Course Supervisor High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Shift is approx. from 8am to 2pm. Monitor rider progress and course conditions. Respond to minor mechanical or medical situations until additional assistance arrives. Relay information between flaggers, aid stations, SAG vehicles, and Event Operations. Report emergencies, hazards, or road obstructions immediately. Help verify that all riders have safely cleared assigned sections of the course.
Lunch provided.

Support and Gear (SAG) Wagon High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Shift is approx. from 8am to 2pm. Patrol assigned sections of the course and maintain communication with Event Operations by radio. Provide transportation for riders who are unable to continue due to mechanical issues, injury, illness, or fatigue. Assist with minor bicycle mechanical problems when possible. Carry water and basic emergency supplies. Monitor rider progress and report any incidents or hazards. Confirm that all participants have safely cleared the course.
One SAG wagon follows 22 milers, and one follows 46 milers. The Second SAG Wagon serves as the official course sweep, releasing flaggers and aid station volunteers after the final rider has passed.

Registration High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Evening Registration on 7/24 is from 4-6pm. Morning of race registration begins at 7am.
Welcome participants and answer general event questions. Check in registered riders using the registration system. Assist with the evening before race and same-day registration. Distribute bib numbers, rider packets, and event materials. Verify that all required waivers have been completed. Direct riders to the start area and answer questions about parking, restrooms, and event logistics. Help maintain an organized registration area and keep lines moving efficiently. Assist with closing registration and transitioning supplies to the finish line or event headquarters.

Beer Server High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Serve beer to participants and guests in accordance with event policies. Verify that anyone receiving alcoholic beverages is of legal drinking age by checking identification when appropriate. Help set up the beer serving area before service begins. Keep the serving area clean, organized, and well stocked. Monitor keg levels and notify the event coordinator when supplies are running low. Promote a friendly, welcoming environment for all attendees. Assist with cleanup and breakdown of the beer service area after the event.
Must be 21 years of age or older.

Food Service High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Shift is approx. from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Help set up food service tables, serving lines, and dining areas. Serve meals to participants, volunteers, and guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Refill food, beverages, condiments, and serving supplies as needed. Keep the serving area clean, organized, and sanitary throughout meal service.
Assist with directing participants through the serving line to keep it moving efficiently. Monitor food supplies and notify the Food Service Coordinator when additional items are needed. Help with cleanup, including tables, serving equipment, trash, recycling, and food service areas after the meal.

Aid Station High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Shift is approx. 4 hours long.
Arrive early to help set up the aid station. Prepare and organize water, sports drinks, snacks, and other supplies. Greet riders and assist them with refilling bottles and selecting food. Monitor riders for signs of fatigue, dehydration, injury, or other concerns. Report any medical emergencies, rider withdrawals, or course issues to Event Operations by radio. Help riders with basic needs while directing mechanical or medical issues to the appropriate support personnel. Keep the aid station clean, organized, and well stocked throughout the event. Assist with cleanup and packing supplies after the SAG Wagon has cleared the station.
