Details

Trail setup volunteers work the week before the event to make sure the course is well marked and easy for racers to navigate. This includes taping, signage and identifying any potential hazards. In the days following the event, they help remove the tape and signage from the trails.

Finish Line Cheerleaders High Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Finish Line Cheerleaders make sure everyone that crosses the line gets a warm and hearty welcome. May include music, bells horns, flags, sign, etc. Creativity and enthusiasm a must. Great group activity!

Course pre-ride volunteers ride the trails the day before the race to verify tape and arrows are in the proper locations, and the trails are clear and in rideable condition.

Swag/Raffle Drawing Prize volunteers seek and secure donations that are given to winners, as well as race attendees through a raffle following the award of the King & Queen crowns.

Details

The Social Media Lead(s) will do everything they can think of to make sure every MTB rider in the Southeast US that's on social media knows about the race, thinks its awesome, and ideally participates! This could include joining numerous MTB related Facebook groups, regularly posting on TikTok, Instagram, X, etc. and otherwise creating outrageous enthusiasm for the event! Budget, if any, will be skimpy, so creativity is a must. Could be a cool project for a marketing class or a group of imaginative fun people!!!
