This volunteer position will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 4 pm until 7 pm. It will be held at Oz Pizza. The volunteer will issue race bibs and wrist bands to pre-registered racers.

Details

Volunteers need to be in place at 3 pm to greet and check-in volunteers as they arrive, issue volunteer t-shirts, and give assignments and location of assignments.

Pre-Registration/Registration (Race Day) (two)

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers need to be in place at 3 pm. Assist racers with checking in/registering for the race. Volunteers will issue race bibs and wrist bands to racers.

Hospitality/VIP Area (2 needed)

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers need to be in place at 3 pm. Volunteers will set up complimentary snacks for VIPS & volunteers. Volunteers are responsible for keeping the snack table filled and neat.

1 Mile & 2 Mile Mark Water Distribution (10 Volunteers at each water station)

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers need to be in place at 5 pm. Volunteers will fill cups with water and hand water cups to races/walkers as they pass by the two-mile mark.

Start and Finish Line Cheerers (ten needed)

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers must be in place by 5 pm. Volunteers will cheer racers/walkers on at the start of the race, and hand medals to runners and walkers as they cross the finish line.
