You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Cheer for and direct runners when to turn and direct traffic to alternate streets if needed.

Downtown Leavenworth, North and South Esplanade, and Bob Dougherty Park

Water Station Crews Medium Priority

Details

Set up and serve water and Gatorade to runners at the aid station in Bob Dougherty Park

Bob Dougherty Park, 2nd St and Kiowa, or South Esplanade and Elm

Bike Marshals Medium Priority

September 21, 2024

Details

Lead the race and direct the fastest runners through the course. Then monitor the course and runners/walkers, communicating with race officials if needed. Run sweep behind the final participants.

*Must supply own bicycle. Helmet is required.

The Final FInisher Medium Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

This person volunteers to be the last person to finish, which lets us know where exactly the "end" of the race is, allowing us to open up roads and reposition other volunteers. Basically you just get to do the event for free as long as you volunteer to be last!
