Please arrive by 8am to help set up, grill, serve and tear down food, tables and chairs.

Please check in and then go to the grilling area after open ceremonies.

WATER STATIONS

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Please arrive by 8am to get water containers filled and out to table to serve water to walkers/runners and clean up course from litter at the end.

Location

Please check in and then get water jugs to assigned location on the MVHCT grounds right after opening ceremony.

COURSE MARSHALLS

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Please arrive at 8am to be assigned a place to help direct and cheer on the walkers/runners along the course.

Location

Please check in and then go to assigned locations right after opening ceremony MVHCT grounds.

Runner/Walker REGISTRATION

No volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Please arrive by 7am to prepare for race day check in. Organize t-shirts and medals and welcome participants.

Location

Please check in at the main entrance of the home under a tent.

Crosswalk Crossing Gaurd

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Please arrive by 7:30am to assist participants across the street safely from parking lot to race entrance of the home.

Location

Check in and then go to the end of the drive at the home and assist people from school parking lot across Sugarbush Rd. to the home's driveway and then back after the race approx. 12pm

FINISHER MEDALS

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Please arrive by 8:30am to get stacks of medals for you to present the participants their finisher medal as they cross the finish line.

Location

Check in and then go to the main entrance of the home.

SILENT AUCTION

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Minimum met, 3 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Please arrive by 7:30am to assist with the setting up, monitoring and then closing out the silent auction tables.

Location

Check-in in and then go to MVHCT Main entrance of the home.

REMEMBRANCE WALK VOLUNTEER

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Minimum met, 17 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

The best job! Volunteer to push a veteran in their wheelchair in the .5 remembrance walk around the home. You will need to be able to safely push a wheelchair up to 50+ pounds at least.5 miles. No children allowed.

Location

Check in and then go to the main entrance of the home a staff person will direct to the veteran for the walk.

Shuttle stop volunteer

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Please arrive by 7:30am to check in and then go to the shuttle stop to guide participants to the shuttle stop for a ride to the race.

Please check in and then go to the shuttle stop.
