Race Wave Staging High Priority

The 9:30 AM start has 9 waves.
The 12:00 PM start has 19 waves.
The 2:15 PM start has 13 waves.
With each wave starting every 2 minutes, it's important to have the waves grouped together so when one wave starts we can quickly bring the next wave to the start line in an orderly fashion.

Location

An aerial map of the race headquarters in Stony Creek will be provided. Also, from the guard shack to the race, there'll be large yard signs pointing you to the race itself.
Once at the race, let the parking attendants know you're volunteering and they'll point you to your parking spot.

Parking Attendants Medium Priority

Need volunteers to make sure racers go the right way to park and allow non-racers access to the Shelden Trails parking lot per our agreement with Stony Creek.
This person can also show people where registration/packet pick up is.

Location

Once at the race, you will call Dale (Race Director) and let him know you're there and he'll direct you where to park.

Tear down High Priority

After the Beginner Awards are complete, we'll need to tear down and load up the trailer, throw away the trash.

Awards ceremony Medium Priority

There will be an MC making the actual announcement of the racer and their placing within their race class, 1st 2nd or 3rd.
What this role does:
- sorting and organizing
- takes the medals and lays them out on a table in order in which they'll be announced and given the racer
- take the medal and either place it over the racer's head or hand it to them while they come up to the podium boxes
