Cheer racers to the finish and help us make sure that everyone gets in safe! This position will be located close to town, and should only take a few hours. Of course lunch is on us!

We'll be out on the course from noon until about 4pm, or whenever the last rider finishes.

Location

We'll meet at the finish line, right in front of The Sweet Palace, at 11:30 am for a quick meeting.

Aid Station Volunteer Medium Priority

Details

These folks will be out on the course to make sure that everyone is staying safe. This means alerting search and rescue in the event of an emergency, helping distribute food and water, and keeping spirits high with cheering.

We'll meet at the Philipsburg Town Park at 7:30am on Saturday, June 30.

Details

This position will be out on the course and help make sure riders don't get lost, or can find help in case of an emergency. Plan on getting an early start, but being done by mid-afternoon.

This positions can be fairly remote - you should be in good fitness to make it to the spot, and comfortable being out in the woods. Locations are available if you would like to ride your bike, hike, or even take a motorcycle.

Course Sweep

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

This job is probably best done on a motorcycle, although folks have done it on mountain bikes in the past. You'll stay in the back, and make sure everyone makes it home safely. You'll also keep an eye out for bits of trash along the way, and help tear down course markings. Leave no trace!

This person should have some mechanical know-how.

Medical

Obviously we hope you don't have much to do, but we can't do this without you there. Medical volunteers will be responsible for providing basic care and assisting with evacuations if necessary. Medical volunteers should have medical training of Wilderness First Responder or above.

This is a great opportunity to snag a shuttle and do a little riding if you want, but we've also got locations you can drive or hike to.
