We need many volunteers to run a successful event. Please click on the VOLUNTEER button if you would like to help guide participants along the course. You'll be assigned a particular street corner to guide participants. The race director will provide you a map of your specific location. And, you'll receive a free T-shirt for becoming a volunteer! Please be available from 7:30 AM until the event finishes at approximately 10 AM.

We need several individuals to help at the finish line to distribute water, treats and bananas to participants. Please be available from 7:30 AM until the event finishes at approximately 10 AM. And, you'll receive a free T-shirt for becoming a volunteer!

Volunteer to be the Lead Biker High Priority

You must be 17 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

This person will lead the runners along the course until the Crystal Coast Country Club. At that point, the runners will be on their own along the golf course. The biker will then proceed to the corner of Fairways Ct. and Cypress Drive to pick up the lead runners and guide them toward the finish line.

Location

Start and end at McNeil Park. Be at McNeil Park at 7:30 and meet up with the volunteer coordinator.

Volunteer as a Split Timer High Priority

Details

This person will call the time for runners passing the 1 mile, 2 mile and finish line. We will require that this person use their cell phone to communicate with the race director and listen for the start of the race in order that they have the correct time when the race starts.

Water Station Volunteer High Priority

We will need several volunteers to distribute water, bananas and treats to the runners and walkers. We will have two stations and we will need at least two per station.
