When: 8:00am
Where: Beach in front of Blockade Runner
What: hand shape/build the 2020 US Open Fat Bike Beach Championships course!
Who: as many folks as we can muster

This is a high priority task that will require as many people as we can gather, at least 30-40. The idea is that with a lot of people the actual physical work will be less and the time it takes to lay out the course will be quicker.
Bring your shovels, rakes and gloves and get ready to fill sand bags and build some fun sections of the fat bike course. There will be several experienced coordinators assisting with directions and design.

The beach in front of the Blockade Runner Resort.

Beach Sweep hole filling sand bag dumping clean up crew. High Priority

Details

When: 4:45pm
Where: Rally point is Bike Cycles tent on Beach in front of Blockade Runner Resort
What: Sweep beach and pick up all sand bags, save them, collect all course tape and bag for disposal. Carry these items to collection point at Blockade Runner. Rake/fill any large holes left from course building. Pick up ANY trash so that we leave the beach cleaner than it was when we started.
Who: As many people as possible, again, at least 20-30.
The most important job that exists post race.

Facebook Live Stream Coordinator Medium Priority

This person will need to be knowledgeable on how to livestream Facebook story , be super excited to be at the race no matter the weather and be ready to interview different racers and attendees. Like a fun news reporter, action videographer...

Sponsor Set Up Coordinator Medium Priority

You must be 18-80 years old to volunteer for this task.

Who: A person or two
What: Assist Sponsors with setting up their tents or displays.
Where: Oceanfront and beach
When: Saturday March 28, 10:00am-2:00pm

Arrive at Blockade Runner and be familiar with the layout of the event venue so that you can guide sponsors to their predetermined area to set up thier tent or display.
