Fit Foodie Family 5K Packet Pickup Volunteers Needed

Help us with packet pickup for the 6th Annual Fit Foodie Family 5K & Kids’ 1K!

Location: Academy Sports + Outdoors – Sugar Land
16610 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77479

Date: Thursday, May 21, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Shifts:
• 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM
• 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
• 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Tasks: Check in participants, hand out race packets, answer questions, and help keep things organized.

Volunteer for one shift or more. Thank you for helping make race weekend a success!

Hand out Race Finisher Medals/ Clean-up Crew

Details

Be at the the Race Finish Line to pass out medals to the winners of the 5K and 1K race as they cross the line.
After the event, ensure all vendors have packed up and cleared their areas by 11 AM. Assist with discarding any loose items to keep the space clean. Additionally, confirm with the Water Station staff that the two tables and flags at the 1.5-mile marker have been collected.

Golf Cart Pick-Up of Volunteers – Assist with transporting volunteers to and from designated event locations using a golf cart. Volunteers assigned to this role will help ensure team members arrive safely and efficiently to their stations, assist with supply transport if needed, and support smooth event operations throughout the race.
