You will be handing out Bison Double, Grizzly Double, or Grand Quad finisher medals to those who have completed the challenges! You will have lists of those that qualify for the awards. They will need to show you their bib, and you will verify their name, hand them a medal, and check their name off from the list.

You will be assisting the staff members before and during the half marathon awards ceremony. You may be asked to help organize all the award medals on the table, or check off which runners claimed their placement award medal. This volunteer position requires attention to detail to ensure the right medals get handed out to the right individuals.

You will be assisting the Zero Waste manager with keeping the event area clean and tidy. Vacation Races provides receptacles for individuals to discard their garbage in separated containers. You may be helping sort garbage that may have been misplaced, break down cardboard boxes, or replacing trash bags throughout the area. You will be provided gloves to work with while sorting.
