OO Trailhead - Seeley, Wisconsin
Seeley, WI US 54843

The PreFat provides the perfect warm-up for the Chequamegon MTB Festival (previously FAT TIRE Festival). The race course starts and ends in the new Kortelopet Start Area at the Hwy 00 Birkie trailhead and goes north using both forest roads for fast speeds, and CAMBA single track to test your riding skills. This year’s courses are very similar to the 2017 and 2018 courses, with a small addition of single track. All three courses will use the new Birkie bridge crossing over highway OO near the end of each race.

Much of these courses are used for the Chequamegon MTB Festival races. All courses include sections of CAMBA single track. The 25 mile Expert Course is approximately 50% single track. The 17 mile Sport and Fat Bike Course is 40-50%, and the 10 mile Citizen Course is about 30-40% single track. More detailed information on each of the courses can be found on our web page www.seeleylions.org

Organize a Three Person Team

Again this year, for added fun, you can create a 3 person team and compete against other teams in one of three Team Competitions. These include teams with one rider in each of the Expert, Citizen and either Sport or Fat Bike races. New this year we've added two Team competitions for Junior riders, the Juniors Citizen Team and the Juniors Sport Team. Results are based on the combined times of all three riders. Team participants remain eligible for individual awards as well. Put your team together, pick a team name, and register your team when you register for your individual race event. When you register, look for the "Join a team" and follow the directions.
