Packet Pick-Up 

Friday, September 12th, Race Venue ~ 1547 Phillip Fulmer Pkwy #1503  Winchester, TN US 37398 5pm - 6pm CST

Saturday, September 13th, Race Venue ~ 5:30am - 7:20am CST

For Pick-up you will need your Picture ID or Drivers License (Picture on phone ok to use).  Your packet includes bib, chip, required swim cap, wrist band (required to gain access to transition and pick up bike), Race Shirt, and other goodies! Please note you cannot gain access to transition unless you have your wrist band so you will need to check in prior to going to transition.

Transition rules/etiquette: 

  • Athlete's ONLY - No moms, dads, grandpas talking about how their bikes were made of steel and went up hill both ways...
  • Racks are first come first serve spots; however, they must be racked in alternating directions
  • Please keep your belongings to the right of your wheel down and your  bag under your back wheel.  Please do not put bags on fencing or in walk/run ways.  This is dangerous for everyone.

TRIATHLON - Athletes will line up in a self seeded line (faster swimmers in front) and each swimmer will go every 5 seconds.  Please make sure your swim cap is on with bib number visible and chip is on left ankle. 

Duathlon - Will be a gun start, all athletes will line up at the finish-line (see course maps for courses) Swim in will be first run in.  

 

Requirements for Each Segment

Swim - Yellow Swim Cap given at packet pickup; official water temp taken race morning 

Information about Wetsuits per USA Triathlon: 

USA Triathlon Wetsuit Rules
78.0°F (25.5°C) or less: Wetsuits are permitted for all athletes.  
78.1°F - 83.9°F (25.6°C - 28.8°C): Wetsuits are optional, but athletes wearing them will not be eligible for awards or USAT national ranking points.  
84.0°F (28.9°C) or higher: Wetsuits are prohibited for all participants.  
Wetsuit Specifics
Thickness: Wetsuits cannot be thicker than 5mm.  
Design: Wetsuits must cover the torso, back, knees, and shoulders and cannot have any outstanding shapes, such as ridges or fins.  
Fit: When permitted, wetsuits must fit tightly to the athlete's body. 

Bike - Helmet with sticker fixed on front, Bike sticker affixed to frame

Run (both runs for Duathletes) - Bib worn on front of body

Timing chip to be worn through entire race and collected by volunteers/staff at finish line (its a $5,000,000 fee if not returned so no biggie if you keep it - I'll just get that private jet I've been wanting ☺)

 

Information on the courses can be found by visiting the Course Maps Here.  The bike course is not a closed course so will be open to traffic.  Please obey all applicable traffic safety laws, stay in bike lane or allow for passing when safe.  Do not ride side by side and no drafting!  Keep 4 bike lengths in between you and the bike in front or behind you.  It is your responsibility to know the course; however, it will be marked with PURPLE Arrows and chalk on ground.
