Q: What are the dates and locations for Race Bib and Shirt Pickup?
Avoid long lines on race day by picking up your bib and shirt early:

Race day pickup begins at 7:30am on Saturday, December 6th.

Q: What do I need to bring for pickup?
Bring an ID. If someone is picking up for you, they must show a copy of your driver's license.
Q: Can I exchange my shirt if I don't like the size?
Shirt exchanges (subject to availability) are allowed after races begin on race day only. NO EXCEPTIONS
Q: Can I order extra shirts or swag?
Yes, additional shirts and Reindeer Run merchandise are available in our online store and on race day.
Q: What does registration for kids 12 and under include?
It includes souvenir antlers and a finisher’s medal. It does not include a race shirt.
Q: Can I purchase a race shirt for my child age 12 and under?
Yes. Youth-size race shirts can be added during registration as a paid add-on.
Race Day Logistics and Timing
Q: Where should I park for the event?
Primary Parking: Napa Junction School, 500 Eucalyptus Drive
Enter from Eucalyptus Dr
Exit only from Commerce Rd
Additional street parking on Wetlands Edge (east side), Eucalyptus Dr, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Arrive early — close parking fills quickly! Be respectful of neighbors.
Q: What time does race day registration and pickup begin?
Starts at 7:30am at the Wetlands Trailhead.
Q: What are the race start times?
10k starts at 9:00am
5k runners start at 9:05am
5k walkers start at 9:10am
Q: When does the race end?
The race officially concludes at 11:00am
Race Course, Amenities, and Experience
Q: What amenities will be available?
8:00–9:00am: Visit Santa, festive backdrop photos, mini “reindeers,” coffee, hot chocolate
8:45am: Warm-up run through the “North Pole”
8:55am: National Anthem
Post-race: Snacks and beverages available
Port-a-Potties at Start/Finish and on course
No bag check, but a self-serve table is available (leave items at your own risk)
Q: Do people dress up in festive attire?
Yes, and we encourage it! Wear reindeer or holiday-themed outfits and bring your phone/camera for great photos.
Q: Will the race be canceled if it rains?
No; the race will be held rain or shine. Dress in layers and be prepared.
Q: Can I bring my dog to the event?
Yes. Dogs must be on a leash and under owner control at all times. Participants with dogs will start at the back of each group.
Q: Can I push a stroller in the race?
Yes. Strollers also start at the back of each group.
Q: What is the course like?
Flat course: first 1/3 paved, remainder on compacted dirt.
Q: Are there water and bathroom stops on the course?
Yes. One water stop and Port-a-Potty are located at the 5k/10k split.
Q: Are there mile markers?
Yes. All routes will have mile markers clearly posted.
Awards, Medals, and Food
Q: What do race finishers receive?
All participants receive a finisher medal that doubles as a holiday ornament.
Q: Are there awards and prizes?
Yes. Awards will be announced at 10:00am for the top 3 male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k.
Q: Are there age group awards?
Yes. Top 3 male and female in the following age groups receive special medals (pick up at the medalist table):

Q: Is post-race food or drink available for purchase?
Yes. Riley’s Food Truck will be on-site selling breakfast food and drinks, including their famous breakfast burritos!
