globalbike 2021 Virtual Challenge Contest and Prize Rules
WHO CAN ENTER
To be eligible to participate in this contest, entrants must be registered for the globalbike Virtual Challenge contest through RunSignUp and have paid their registration fee of $35.
HOW TO ENTER
Enter online, by registering for globalbike Virtual Challenge event, Race to Kilimanjaro, through the RunSignUp platform. Each registration costs $35 to be entered into 3 races. The virtual challenge event begins on June 28, 2021 at 7am EST and runs through August 28th at 11:59pm EST. globalbike and companies providing prizes are not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected registrations or athletic performance data, printing errors, server unavailability, computer, or any other electronic malfunction.
Enter performance data into your personal race portal on RunSignUp. Winners for the Kili to the Coast and Kili Climb challenge will be selected based on quickest time to completion. globalbike will verify results with winners prior to distributing prizes.
On August 29th, 2021, winners will be identified and announced.

Kili to the Coast Distance Challenge:
First Place Prize
Masai Steppe section of the Tour D’Afrique. See: https://tdaglobalcycling.com/tour-dafrique/masai-steppe The prize is valid for use up until the 2024 tour. It does not include any of the pre-tour costs such as flights, visa, insurance, and vaccinations; these costs are the responsibility of the winner. It does cover all on-tour costs of food, accommodations, experienced tour leader, bike mechanic baggage vehicle, and medic. The trip includes a chance to ride alongside the Tour d'Afrique Cairo to Cape Town participants. The winner will be registered in TDA global’s registration system once the winner chooses a year to attend. Once registered, the winner will receive a series of info bulletins in the 6 months leading up to the tour. (*Must be 18 years or older to accept this prize)

Each winner will be notified by email. First place winner of the the Kili to the Coast challenge and winners of the fundraising challenge will need to provide his/her correct name, address, and telephone number to globalbike at the time of notification. Each winner must sign and return a release of affidavit of eligibility, which must be received within fourteen (14) days of notification, prior to shipping or receipt of prize. If the winner is a minor, then the winner’s parents or guardian must sign a release and affidavit of eligibility before the winner receives his/her prize. Each winner must show picture identification to receive the prize. globalbike reserves the right to examine additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding the prize based on identification presented.
If a winner cannot be notified within 14 days or does not timely sign the release and affidavit of eligibility, then the prize will be forfeited, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner randomly selected from the remaining valid entries.
There will be no substitutions or cash alternatives for any prizes except at the sole discretion of globalbike. globalbike has the right to substitute a prize of similar value. No transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.
Each winner is responsible for paying all local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules. Each winner must complete and sign a Form W-9.
globalbike is not liable if the provider of any part of the prize fails to satisfy its obligations to furnish its portion of the prize.
globalbike is not responsible for any liability arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize.
In claiming the prize, you are acknowledging that globalbike has the right to publicize your first name, character, likeness, photograph, voice, and the fact that you are the winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.
Complete contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at globalbike.
This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. globalbike accepts no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded hereunder.
globalbike cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen entries, prizes, or contest information. globalbike is not responsible for any computer or electronic malfunction, server unavailability, or technological glitch, or human error relating to this contest and/or the use of short-code.
globalbike reserves the right to make rules and contest changes, and change the aforementioned contest dates.
By entering this contest, each entrant waives any and all claims of liability against globalbike, TDA global, Rouvy, Canyon Bikes, CTS Cycling, WomanTours, Origin Trails, Jesse Israel, the Big Quiet and their respective partners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents, for any and all claims, loss, damage, or injury, which may occur as a result of entrant’s participation in this contest.
