Back at it again in July! I will be participating in The Great Bicycle Tour (TGBT) XXXIX. Super excited about it, and I’d love your support and help in raising funds for a great nonprofit organization — San Mar Family & Community Services — as its major annual fundraiser.
As you may or may not know, I was originally coerced into participating in this butt-crushing, leg-numbing, soul-replenishing, 185-mile ride along the C&O Canal in 2023 by the one and only RJ Doyle. He fell in love with this organization and ride upon his first time doing it. The cause, the people, the friends you make, the camaraderie of working towards a united goal, the challenge and fun of the ride itself — so many reasons for doing, and loving, this ride. But most importantly, we are supporting children and families who are facing some tough situations.
I will forever dedicate this ride to RJ and always be grateful to him for introducing me to riding and this community. It allows me to feel extra close to him. Last year I was able to support SanMar with $1,200 in donations through your sponsorships. I would love to be able to meet or beat that this year.
