Thank you for visiting my page!
I’ve had this ride on my list of to-dos for about 10 years! I’m so excited to ride 66mi in celebration of my late husband, Gregory. My profile photo is from 2008 when he rode the MS150 from Philly to OCNJ in support of the MS Society, and now I’ll ride for him with ACS. He was taken from this world far too soon, so this is one way he can remain present in my life, one way I can help our son experience his generous heart and focused, fearless mindset. Our life was just starting, and I’ll move forward with whatever I can, whatever it takes.
Cancer has touched and taken too many people I know and love, in addition to Gregory, and I ride for them as well. By supporting this important work, I’m celebrating cancer survivors, honoring those we've lost, and raising critical funds to help end cancer as we know it, for everyone. The money I raise helps fund groundbreaking research, provides vital information for those facing cancer, and supports free rides to treatment and free lodging when care is far from home. Most of all, I know the funds raised brings hope to the people who need it most.
By standing with the American Cancer Society, I stand with the 18 million cancer survivors in the U.S. today—and with those who may one day hear the words, “You have cancer.” That’s why I’d be so grateful for your support. Please donate to my efforts, and together, we can help end cancer as we know it—for everyone.
