Welcome to the Team Page I created. I formed this team because cancer has touched my whole family and really all of us in some way and I know we all want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society.

Then, on the day of the event, we’ll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.  

That piece of this is so important to me personally! I have lost so many fighting cancer, including my mom.  I also want to celebrate those family and friends that are celebrating their continuous fight for survival!  You are strong, you are loved and you are not alone!   Lastly, I do not want to forget those that aren't battling the disease but have to watch their loved ones suffer without being able to ease the pain.  You are an important part of their life and don't ever forget that.

The money our team raises helps the American Cancer Society in so many ways. It's helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It's providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives.
