I have been registering, donating, and volunteering for the Buffalo Bicycle Classic every year since it was started in 2003. For me, it was never about biking (although I do that too). It has always been about raising need-based scholarship funds that increase the opportunities for Colorado high school graduates to attend CU and be successful in pursuing their education. Together we've created over $3.9M in opportunities, and each year we support about 25-30 scholars.
This year as has been the case for the last several years I'll be arranging the aid station operations: food, drink, volunteers, tents, tables, truck logistics. If you are riding, I hope to see you out there. I thank you you for considering a contribution to the BBC and its scholarship fund!
