Welcome to Bike the Coast, Ventura...

In 2026, fifteen years after our first ride in Oceanside, Bike the Coast riders cruised up the 101 for our inaugural ride in Ventura, California. The Ventura version of Bike the Coast features 20-mile and 40-mile rides, along with an International Style Century – that’s 100 kilometers, or just a hair over 60 miles for those more imperially inclined riders. All distances share the bike lanes along PCH before the 40- and 60-mile rides venture into the emerald-hued farmlands of Carpinteria. While 40-mile riders swing back towards Ventura, 60-mile riders roll along the flower-lined beaches of Montecito and Santa Barbara before heading back for the finish festival. No matter the course you choose, you’ll find the sea on your shoulder and a well-stocked aid station waiting for you a couple of miles ahead. At the finish festival, a portion of every pint enjoyed by riders (and friends of riders) will benefit the Ventura Lions Club.
