Many children face challenges such as poverty, limited access to clean water and healthcare, violence against children, and child marriage. In Kenya:
- 1.2 million children do not have access to education.
- 41.5% of children are below the poverty line.
- For children under the age of 5, the mortality rate is at 41% due to lack of clean access to water and sanitation-related diseases.
