Event: The Fat Bike 100K

This division is reserved for fat bikes only. By definition, a fat bike is a bicycle with oversized tires, typically 3.8 in (97 mm) or larger, and rims 2.6 in (66 mm) or wider, designed for low ground pressure to allow riding on soft unstable terrain such as snow and sand. Fat bikes are built around frames with wide forks and stays to accommodate the wide rims required to fit these tires.

Event: The Single-Speed 100K

This division is reserved for single-speed bikes only. By definition, a single-speed bicycle is a type of bicycle with a single gear ratio. These bicycles are without derailleur gears, hub gearing, or other methods for varying the gear ratio of the bicycle.
