What is the Half a Half Marathon?

• The Hermes Half a Half Marathon is a 6.5-mile chip-timed road race in Northeast Ohio—a quarter of a marathon!

What time should I arrive?

• Race morning packet pickup begins at 6:30 AM.

Is there an early packet pickup?

Yes! Avoid long lines and the cold.

• Date: Friday, March 20, 2026

• Location: Hermes Sports Warehouse (2425 W. 11th St., Cleveland, OH 44113 - Tremont)

• Runners can pick up packets for friends and family—just bring their confirmation email.

What is the cost to participate?

This event is capped at 500 participants, with tiered pricing:

• $40 – Early Bird (First 100 registrants)

• $45 – Standard (Next 300 registrants)

• $50 – Late (Final 100 registrants)

With this race being a unique distance, our awards are just as special:

• Top 5 Overall Male & Female Finishers

• 35 Randomly Drawn "Last Mile Fast Mile" Finishers

A split point mat will be placed one mile from the finish line. Anyone who runs their last mile at a faster pace than their first 5.5 miles is eligible!

Are strollers, dogs, and headphones allowed?

• Yes! But for safety, strollers and dogs must start at the back of the group.

What is the course like?

• Flat, smooth 6.5-mile course along Rocky River Reservation

• Southbound start on Valley View, turnaround at Morley Ford Dam

• Two water stops along the course

• Restrooms at mile 1.3 & mile 4.7

What is parking like at Emerald Necklace Marina?

• Easy, accessible parking near the start/finish area

• Restrooms located on the northwest side of the Marina

• Carpooling encouraged

Is there a pace requirement?

• No! Walk or run at your own pace.

• Walker Division is now with the 8AM Runner Start!

While registrations are non-refundable, we now offer a FREE Participant Event Transfer!

• Gift your registration to another runner at no cost

• Selling bibs is NOT allowed

• Transfer Registration Online anytime before race morning

Even if you can’t run, you can still pick up your race swag at packet pickup.
