DAY 1: Bayou Teche Brewing Bike Bash (Saturday, November 2Nd)
STARTING & FINISHING @ BAYOU TECHE BREWERY IN ARNAUDVILLE, LA
Visit Arnaudville and ride on some of the smoothest roads in LA.  
Distances options are: 9, 18, 27, 38, 45, 66 and 100 miles.
After the ride enjoy the party at Bayou Teche Brewery with live music, brewery tours great beers and plenty of food.

SATURDAY SCHEDULE:
                  *2018 schedule listed, subject to change for 2019*  
7:00 am - Check in and day of registration
7:50 am - 100 mile group (plus any other early risers)
8:15 am - 45 & 64 mile group
9:15 am - 9, 18, 27 & 38 mile groups (plus any late risers)
The grouping will help create packs riding the same routes.  However, you can start at anytime on your own.

Giant Omelette Celebration Ride - November 3, 2019
Vermilion Parish Courthouse, Abbeville, LA
Get a ride in and enjoy the final day of the Giant Omelette Celebration in downtown Abbeville, LA.
This is a ride that fits everyone and offers distances of 10, 32, 42, 56, 65 & 100 miles.

A highlight of the longer ride is crossing the Intracoastal Bridge in Forked Island and grabbing some boudin from Stelly's Grocery, one of your SAG stations on the ride. This ride is generally flat and will take you South to the coastal marshes.  The roads are nice and many were repaved after hurricane Rita.   

The ride starts and finishes at the Vermilion Parish Courthouse (100 North State St., Abbeville, LA  70510).  You will finish the bike ride in time to see the procession of the chefs as the prepare a 12-foot diameter skillet and cook one Giant Omelette with over 5,000 eggs.

SUNDAY TIMES.... Sleep late, it is daylight savings time!

7:00 am - 100 mile group (+ other early risers)
8:00 am - 29, 42 56 & 65 mile group
9:15 am - 10 mile groups (+ late risers)

BICYCLE RENTALS:  Available at great discounts and the bike will be delivered to you at the start of the ride, then simply return it when your done! GIANT OMELETTE CELEBRATION is a unique (only 8 in the world) French based festival.  and Abbeville host the only one in the US.
