Our Heywood Healthy Harvest 5K Run/Walk for Mental Health is on Saturday, October 28, 2023. We invite you to join us!
We will again offer a Hybrid Format of on-site and in-person or virtual participation options. Participants may choose to run or walk either in person or on their own as a virtual participant. Proceeds from this year’s event will be directed towards expanding our mental health programming and the re-opening of our inpatient Mental Health Unit at Heywood Hospital.
AWARDS: The top male & female winning race participants will be recognized. Awards for Most Spirited Team and Largest Team will also be presented! To start or to join a team please remember to follow the prompt at the bottom of your registration page.
2023 HH5K Registration options are: Timed & Not Timed. *PLEASE NOTE: Registration is either GENERAL/NOT TIMED (Virtual or In-Person) or COMPETITIVE/TIMED (In-person run) CATEGORIES*
ONLINE REGISTRATION closes Oct. 23rd at 3:00pm (guarantees participant gift for in-person)
Event Timeline:
Adult rate: $25.
Youth registration offers reduced fees: Ages 7-18 yrs are $15 & children 6 and under are free! (Details will appear within the link as you complete the registration)
All in-person runners and walkers will receive a 2023 Healthy Harvest 5K gift upon registration check-in. Everyone is encouraged to wear past HH5K shirts to show your past support!
ROUTE: Our established 3.1 mile family-friendly scenic course is the official HH5K option, starting and ending at Heywood Hospital. However, virtual participants can select any route they wish.

Proceeds from this year’s event will be directed towards increased mental health programming and support to our community’s youth, families, and schools as we adjust to COVID-19 and the added stressors today’s pandemic is having.
The Healthy Harvest 5K suggested route takes the runners along Heywood Hospital's wooded walking trail to a half way turnaround point at the end of Crystal Lake. The race begins and ends in the Heywood Hospital parking lot. However, participants can select any route they wish. For competitive participants, the route must meet 5k (3.1M) criteria.
