2020 12 & 24 Hours of Flathead Cancelled

24 Hours of Flathead Friends-

We wish we were writing to you all with exciting news, but sadly we are not. We have come to a decision to cancel 2020's 12 & 24 Hours of Flathead.

We had had high hopes and all intentions to put on a revised event that could adhere to social distancing restrictions, but after being notified by the Flathead County Health Dept of their requirements, we realized we wouldn't be able to adhere to everything and put on a safe event for all.

Regardless of the County's restrictions, there is just so much uncertainty still surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and with a recent surge in COVID cases, canceling the event this year is socially responsible and the appropriate action. We have come up with some options for racers that have signed up and ones that have not:

1. Roll your registration to the 2021 12&24 Hours of Flathead

Already paid registration fees for 2020? We will roll your money and registration over to 2021! You do not need to do anything. Your 2020 registration will automatically transfer to the 2021 event. If you are unable to race on Saturday, August 14, 2021, you will have the option to defer the registration to 2022. Please email letting us know you'd like a deferral.

2. Request a refund

Email to request a refund, and it will be processed as quickly as possible. (Note: If your 2020 registration was a deferral from a previous year, you are ineligible for a refund – but can defer to 2021.)

3. Help us Raise Money for our Last Best Grant!
Donate your 2020 registration back to the 24 Hours of Flathead. If you have registered and don't want to defer your registration to next year or request a refund, we will donate your entire registration to our Last Best Grant Recipient for this year! If you haven't signed up, but want to donate to our grant, please email

We look forward to seeing you in 2021 on August 14-15

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions – let's chat!

Mark, Tia & Heather

Here Are Your Options:

You understand that events are expensive, even when cancelled, and you want us to keep your registration fees to help cover our costs. We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

We understand and we hope to see you in 2021!
