Trail running has many benefits! Mentally, trail running is a fantastic way to enjoy nature, add some variety to your running, and give yourself a different challenge. Spending time in the woods is beneficial for the mind and the nervous system! Physically, trail running improves strength and agility, and the softer surfaces can lessen the impact of running on your muscles and joints.
If you're interested in trail running, but not sure where to start, or if you've done some trail running but would like to improve your technique, join us for this trail running clinic! We'll cover trail running technique and strategies, as well as gear for trail running for various conditions throughout the year. After a full dynamic warmup, we'll head out on the trails of Stratham Hill Park, stopping to regroup and practice key trail running techniques (climbing, descending, navigating rocks, roots, grass, etc)
Cancellation, Refund and Weather policy:
Clinic will go on in rain. In the event of lightening/thunder or other inclement weather, clinic will be rescheduled. If clinic must be rescheduled in the 24 hours preceding the clinic, due to weather or to any other unforeseen circumstances, an option to attend the reschedule date or a partial refund may be provided at the discretion of the event organizers. If clinic must be completely cancelled by organizers due to low registration or other unforeseen circumstances, a refund less the Run signup processing fees will be provided. No refunds will be provided if participants do not show up at the clinic, or if your plans change and you are unable to make the clinic date that you signed up for.
