Start Time: 7:30 AM

Time Limit: Four (4) hours (Strictly enforced).

*The time limit is strictly enforced! Bridge races involve special permission and cooperation by local authorities, police, and emergency response, and impact motor vehicle traffic. To continue these races, we must comply with the limits set by these agencies.

Chip Timing

The race will be chip timed.

Swag Items

All finishers will receive a medal, shirt, cap, and socks.

Bridge Series Buckle Medal: If you complete all 3 bridges (Toughest 10k Kemah, Toughest 10k Galveston) and finish the La Porte Half Marathon, you will receive the exclusive commemorative Bridge Series Buckle Medal.

Lost or Forgotten Bib

If you lose your bib or forget it at home, there will be a $10 charge to reissue a new bib.

Course Description

Start at Sylvan Beach, travel through beautiful Main St. and Five Points Town Plaza of La Porte, get on 146, and cross the **Fred Hartman Bridge** into Baytown. You are halfway done! Turn around and come back for a nice finish and great finish party.

Start: Sylvan Beach, 636 N. Bayshore Dr., La Porte, TX 77571

Finish: Five Points Plaza, 100 S Broadway, La Porte, TX 77571

Parking

Please be aware that parking is limited, and carpooling is strongly suggested!

Overflow Parking: Will be at the high school across the street from the starting point at Sylvan Beach.

NOTE: Cars parked in the church's parking lot across from Five Points Plaza will be towed.

NOTE: The finish is half a mile from the start, and we will NOT provide shuttle transportation back to the starting point.

Water/Aid Stations

All stations will have at least water and Lemon Lime flavor Gatorade. Some stations might have other goodies as well.

Locations: Start and Finish, plus every 2 miles.

NOTE: There will be no water stations on the Bridge!

Mile Markers

Mile markers will be present at every mile.

Port-A-Johns

Port-A-Johns will be available at the Start and Finish.
