Alum Creek Trail Races-October 3

Race Director Notes

Race Directors Notes

The races will begin at the Alum Creek Marina, which is located just past the Dog Park. Please note that the races do not start at the Rocks and Roots trailhead. You can use either the Marina off Hollenback Road or the Friends of Alum Creek Dog Park as your destination in Google Maps.

Registration and Parking

Registration opens at 9 AM, and we will be reinforcing the course until that time, so there is no need to arrive early. There is plenty of free parking available locally, and flush restrooms are provided at the start/finish area.

Race Details

The event includes the following distances: 5K, 10K, 15K, Half Marathon, and a 6 Hours of Power. The Half Marathon consists of two loops of the 10K course. All races will have one mass start. The terrain is primarily single-track trail with some steep inclines and declines. We recommend wearing trail shoes, as the park is known for being muddy. I would bring a change of clothes for after the event.

Amenities

There is a nice campground located about 3 miles from the starting area. After the race, you can either head back to town or enjoy a slice of delicious pizza at the rustic Cheshire Market.

Race

This event takes place on Saturday only (October 3), with the finish line closing at 4 PM.

Race Swag

All participants will receive a custom race bib, a souvenir race medal, a custom race lanyard, a race-specific sticker, a marked course, an official time, aid station support, and refreshments at the finish. Race shirts can be purchased in the race store and are shipped via Amazon Prime to your address on file. Shirts take 5-7 days to arrive.

Results and Awards

Race results will be posted on www.wolfpackresults.com by Sunday at 12 PM. While there will not be an awards ceremony, we will send out an email on Tuesday morning to congratulate the winners. Those who break course records will receive a coveted Wolf Pack Yellow Jersey, and winners of each event will be entered into a drawing for a 2027 Pack Pass and a personalized Wolf Pack shirt.

Cancellation Policy

Races will take place rain or shine. If we need to cancel the event for any reason, we will notify participants via our website (www.wolfpacktrailruns.com), this site, our Instagram, our Strava page, and through email. For more information, feel free to reach out via email at info@wpackevents.com.

Happy Trails!
