Sink or Swim at Caesar Creek
Race Director Notes
Caesar Creek (Sink or Swim)-Race Director Notes
The races will begin near the main campground in Caesar Creek State Park, not at the Fifty Springs group campground. For directions, you can enter Caesar Creek Campground into Google Maps. It is situated off Center Road. The start/finish area is before you enter the main campground.
We are hosting several events: a 5K, 10K, 15K, 6 Hours of Power, and a Half Marathon. Registration opens at 9:00 AM, and all events start at 10:00 AM. There is no need to arrive early, as we have an efficient system for processing participants. We recommend arriving around 9:15 AM for convenience. There is ample free parking, as well as portable toilets and flush restrooms, in the campground.
Race Distances:
- The 5K consists of one loop.
- The 10K consists of one loop.
- The 15K is one loop of the 5K followed by one loop of the 10K.
- The Half Marathon consists of one loop.
The routes are not actual loops, but we refer to each segment as a loop.
Please note that the routes may appear to have different distances in the GPX files, but they are pretty close to the advertised distances.
All race routes are mainly singletrack trails that wind by the lake through a dense forest. The trails can become extremely muddy if it rains. We recommend bringing a change of clothes.
All participants will receive a custom race bib, a souvenir race medal, a custom race lanyard, a race-specific sticker, a marked course, an official time, aid station support, and refreshments at the finish.
Race shirts can be purchased in the race store and are shipped via Amazon Prime to your address on file. Shirts take 5-7 days to arrive. You do not pick up race shirts at the event.
Race results will be posted on www.wolfpackresults.com by Sunday at 12:00 PM. Although there will not be an awards ceremony, we will send an email on Tuesday announcing the weekend's winners and news about the upcoming weekend's events. Those who break course records will earn a coveted Wolf Pack Yellow Jersey, and the winners of each event will be entered into a drawing for a 2027 Pack Pass and a personalized Wolf Pack shirt.
Races will take place rain or shine. If we need to cancel the event for any reason, participants will be notified through our website (www.wolfpacktrailruns.com), our Instagram, our Strava page, and via email. For more information, please feel free to reach out to us at info@wpackevents.com.
