Toledo Mini Half Marathon Returns:
A Celebration of Fitness, Community, and Fun

The City of Toledo is gearing up to welcome runners, walkers, and families from across the region for the Toledo Mini Half Marathon, set to take place on March 21st. This exciting annual event combines the challenge of a half marathon with the community spirit that defines Toledo’s active culture.

The Toledo Mini Half Marathon features a 13.1-mile course that highlights some of the city’s most scenic routes, including Historic Maumee, the Toledo Zoo, and into downtown Toledo along the new, expanding Glass City Riverwalk, which is slated to reach 50% completion in 2026. In addition to the half marathon, participants can enjoy a 10K Run for the more casual runner.

All participants will receive a commemorative race medal and official racing shirt. The event also supports the Glass City Riverwalk and the a portion of the proceeds goes back into the local community.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the Toledo Mini to experience the expanding Glass City Riverwalk,” said Mike Keedy, Chief Engagement & Enterprise Officer at Metroparks Toledo. “Runners will enjoy an exclusive sneak preview of new sections of the Riverwalk opening in summer 2026, and finish at The Ribbon, a year-round hub of activity at Glass City Metropark. As we near 50% completion of this 5-mile greenway that connects six neighborhoods to 300 acres of riverfront green space, this race showcases our progress and vibrant recreational opportunities that we’re building together.”

Early registration discounts are available through January 8th, and participants are encouraged to sign up soon before the race reaches capacity.
