Thank you for your interest in registering for the Maritime DeLuna Duathlon. We look forward to having you race with us. We highly recommend you read the following policy prior to registering.

No Refunds 
Once you register for the Maritime DeLuna Duathlon, all registration fees are non-refundable. This includes if you are unable to attend due to personal reasons, non-training, illness, injury, family emergencies, difficulties with travel or scheduling conflicts.

Military Orders Exception: If you are child is unable to participate due to your active military orders, you may submit appropriate documentation (e.g., deployment orders) to receive a refund of your registration fee, minus a processing fee.
        
Deferrals
We allow deferrals to the following year's duathlon or triathlon but this must be requested before March 4th, 2026.   This deferral is good for one calendar year only.  

Event Cancellation or Postponement
If the race is canceled or postponed due to reasons outside our control we do not offer refunds.  This includes, but not limited to, weather conditions, Acts of God (such as natural disasters, severe weather, or emergencies), government regulations, civil unrest, public health emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances, no refunds will be issued. These types of situations are considered "Force Majeure" events.  

‍Participant Responsibility for Safety: If the event is still held despite challenging circumstances (e.g., adverse weather), it is the sole responsibility of each participant to assess their own safety and well-being before choosing to participate. Participants are encouraged to make their own determination regarding whether they should participate in the race based on the conditions at that time. By registering for the event, you acknowledge that your participation is at your own risk, and no refunds or deferrals will be issued if you decide not to participate based on safety concerns.
 
Event Changes
‍We reserve the right to alter race details, including the course, race schedule, and amenities, at any time. Changes will be communicated to registered participants, but no refunds will be offered for changes in the event format.
