FINAL CREDENTIAL PICK-UPS ON JUNE 3 AND 6: 

We will accept new registrations and donations at that time to reach the $250 (or $50 for youth) fundraising minimum to earn your rider packet.

As a reminder, there will be no day of event walk-up registration or rider packet pick-up. If you do not meet the required fundraising minimum by the deadline of June 6, your registration will automatically be converted to a virtual participant.


If you’ve already received your rider credentials, be sure to review the following to ensure you are ready to ride on Sunday

MUST DO:

1. Have a safety inspection of your bike at one of our participating bike shops and receive the 2026 Bike-A-Thon bike band. Alternatively, bring your receipt with you as proof.

2. Make sure your bib plate is installed correctly. This is for your safety!

3. Make sure you arrive at your start point on time, ready to go! If you are starting at the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, it will close to all vehicles at 5:45am.

4. You must wear your wristband all day. Once you valet your bicycle or drop your bag, you will not be able to retrieve it without your matching band!

5. Review our Base Route and or Century Route to familiarize yourself with the overall ride. We also offer Ride with GPS routes for the Base Route and Century Route.

6. Add Command Center to your phone contacts 856.697.6830.

7. Download our rider tracking app. Since we switched to RunSignUp, we will be using the tracking app RaceJoy! Download RaceJoy and select the 2026 Bike-A-Thon event.  Additional Instructions on managing the app, setting up GPS tracking and spectator viewing can be found on the RaceJoy Information Page.

MUST HAVE:

1. Rider number and a properly fitting helmet.

2. A refillable water bottle to keep hydrated and can be filled at our rest stops. A spare tube for your tire size and a pump or CO2 cartridge.

3. Lunch ticket that came in your rider packet. You will trade this ticket for your complimentary lunch of choice at any of the food trucks at the end point. Additional meals will be available for purchase.

4, Parking is available at all the Start Points and at the End Point.

Start Point: Use this pass in Philadelphia and display it prominently on your car dashboard and make sure you are parked in a legal parking spot. The American Cancer Society is not responsible for any fees associated with any parking violation you receive.

End Point: Please download and display the City of Ventnor parking pass prominently on your car dashboard. There are two parking options available:

On-street parking is available at the end point. Please make sure you are parked in a legal parking spot. The American Cancer Society is not responsible for any fees associated with any parking violations you receive. Wellington Ave Lot (4800 Wellington Ave, Ventnor, NJ 08406) - Overnight parking is available starting on Saturday. The parking lot will be accessible until 9 PM and all day Sunday. Please download and display the City of Ventnor parking pass prominently on your car dashboard. A Jitney service will be available to transport people from Wellington Ave parking lot to the end point from 8 AM - 4 PM on Sunday. 

5. There will be showers at the End Point, make sure you bring your own towel and toiletries!

DON’T FORGET:

1. Wear sunscreen and HYDRATE!

2. It's a ride, not a race. Be mindful along the route and of course, be safe and set a good example.

3. Take advantage of our rest stops for some extra fuel and hydration before making your way down to the finish.

4. Once the last sweep vehicle (support vehicle that follows behind the group start) crosses the bridge, NO riders will be able to cross afterwards on the bridge. Any riders who arrive after the sweep vehicle crosses will need to cross along the pedestrian walkway 

5. The entrance to the Atlantic City Expressway in Pleasantville closes at 3:00 PM. You must be on the ramp by that time to ride on the Expressway. Any rider who has not reached the expressway by 3:00 PM will not be permitted to enter and will be shuttled to the end point by bus. 

6. If you are riding the Century Loop, you must be on the loop by 10:30 AM to ensure you have enough time to make it to the expressway before it closes at 3 PM. If you do not make it to the loop by that time, we require you to switch to the base route. 

7. If you need assistance along the route or need medical attention, call the command center number on your bike tag and wrist band - 856.697.6830.

8. If you purchased a Return Transportation ticket, make sure you check-in before getting on the bus. (Return Transportation is now sold-out)

9. We have shuttles to the Atlantic City Rail Station for those that wish to take the train back from the end point. The trains are scheduled to depart at 12:02 PM, 1:37 PM, & 3:29 PM. 

The shuttles to the train station will run continuously on loop from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

10. Bag pick up will be at our End Point! Bags can be dropped at the designated location at all Start Points. Bags are delivered to the End Point. Baggage tag must match participant rider number to be claimed.

11. Survivor ceremonies are at 12:30 pm and 2 pm. We invite you to participate if you are a survivor. 2025 Awards will be presented to honorees at 1:00 pm.

12. We will have finish line photography, so smile as you cross the finish line!

13. Our volunteers are critical to making this day run smoothly. Be sure to share a kind word of gratitude.

RIDER SAFETY:

1. Complete the emergency information label on the back of your bib.

2. Carry photo identification.

3. Ride at safe speeds. This event is a ride, not a race or competition of any kind.

4. Slow down for congestion and hazardous conditions.

5. Ride to the right. Pass to the left.

6. Give a clear signal with your voice when passing a slower rider/runner–call out “on your left.”

7. Maintain adequate distance between you and the participants around you, especially going downhill.

8. Exercise caution when changing lanes. Obey posted signs, event leaders, law enforcement and first responders.

9. Do not block the road. If you need to stop, always move off to the side and do not block others from passing. Be extra alert at intersections and driveways.

10. Slow down when approaching our designated rest areas.

11.Cyclist must wear helmets. Use hand signals when turning or stopping.

12. No headphones, cell-phone use, picture taking, or use of mobile devices while riding/running.
