OUR BENEFICIARY
The Nassau Parks Conservancy works to bring great programs to the residents of Nassau County and the greater New York area. One of these programs is the Long Island Marathon. In addition to programming the Conservancy assists in beautifying and conserving 70 Parks throughout Nassau County. The great racecourse of the Long Island Marathon is an example. We are a non-profit 501©3 organization that depends on contributions to continue our work. Your contribution will specifically be dedicated to tree planting. These trees will beautify, combat global warming by absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, enhancing the soil, helping to prevent rain runoff, and providing wildlife habitat.
