We're excited to announce that @marfaeducationfoundation will be this year’s Marfa100 donation recipient!
Marfa Education Foundation (MEF) is a non-profit that plays a critical role in the educational experience for students of Marfa ISD. Through grant funding, MEF supports innovative programming that would not otherwise be available to Marfa’s tiny school district, including a mix of academic, literacy, arts and technology programs. Students thrive in these programs and it is hard to summarize the breadth of what MEF offers. Some examples - students have gone on to state competitions in science and robotics, they have received scholarships to help with college, and they annually write and act in plays performed for the local Marfa community - all thanks to the support of MEF. Our goal is to raise $3000 that goes directly to MEF to be used for the 2024 School year.
Our donation page will remain open until October 19 with all donations going directly to MEF.
