In Palm Beach County, 22.2% of adults age 16 and older lack basic literacy skills and can't fill out a job application or read a bus schedule. 47% of third-grade students read below grade level, begin to fall behind in every subject, not just language arts, and are at greater risk of dropping out of school.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life in our community by promoting and achieving literacy. Your fundraising efforts will support our literacy programs and earn you some great prizes at the same time!
A week or so after the event, we will contact everyone that has earned a fundraising prize and make arrangements to get them to you.
