Race Day General Information
Welcome to the 14th Annual LOOP for Literacy
We look forward to seeing everyone Saturday morning, February 10,
at Bryant Park in Lake Worth Beach!
Below is additional information about the event:
• Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 6:00 a.m. in the park under the covered walkway
- The Roadside Ride Begins at 7:00 a.m.
- The 5K Run Begins at 8:00 a.m.
- The 5K Walk Begins at 8:05 a.m.
- The Kids One-Mile Fun-Run Begins at 8:45 a.m.
- The Kids 100-Yard-Dash Begins at 9:00 a.m.

***Cyclists are required to wear a helmet for the roadside ride***
• Water and light refreshments will be available before the event
• OrangeTheory of Boynton Beach will lead a warm-up on the park stage at 7:45 a.m prior to the 5K start
• Awards and prizes will be presented on the stage after the races in the park:
1st, 2nd and 3rd place Overall Male and Female winners;
1st place Male and Female over 50 winners;
1st place winners of the Kids1-Mile Fun Run and Kids 100-Yard Dash
Top Individual and Top Team Fundraiser
• Chick-fil-A will have breakfast sandwiches available for the first 350 (first come, first serve) in the park around 8:00 a.m.,
additional refreshments will also be available.
• All participants will receive a $10 gift certificate to Park Avenue BBQ Grille in their packet.
• Star Wars characters will be at the event to entertain and take photos with
• Field Day Activities will be in the park for children to enjoy
• Every registered child will receive a book to take home and read
• Books will be available for purchase for a $10 donation by featured Love of Literacy Luncheon authors, at the Coalition's tent
