Located at the Elm Lake Start/Finish, assisting runners in our main aid station with hydration, fueling, ice, etc. Please check in for your shift at the main timing tent and complete a handover with the previous shift. Parking is available along the roadway parking spots in front of Elm Lake Pavilion area.

Volunteers for this station may be distributed to other aid stations or on course to unmanned water points to ensure supplies and staffing numbers are all running smoothly around the course. Please check-in at the main start/finish tent for your shift to receive instructions.

Houston Colosseum Runners Aid Station (Nature Center)

Located at the Nature Center with a parking lot and washrooms. This aid station has been taken over by our incredible Houston Colosseum Runners club, thank you! Please contact and coordinate with Carlos Bustamante for details. TROT will have the aid station fully setup and supplied but we expect to see some wild and crazy vibes coming from this aid station!

This aid station is accessed from outside of the park at the end of Sawmill Rd, volunteers can drive directly to the station but should check in and main aid for transport of any resupply. Assisting runners in our aid station with hydration, fueling, ice, etc.

Race Director Assistant Medium Priority

Details

The RD Assistant will be mainly around the start/finish area assisting with general tasks when the race director gets pulled into different directions. Keeping the finish line flowing, medals, timing, laps, and general maintenance around the event, solving the various problems that arise and being backup in an emergency.

Parking & Shuttle Assistant High Priority

Details

This role will ensure the shuttle busses are moving people efficiently between parking lots and that participants are finding their way. We will also have a shuttle van for later in the race where we may ask this role to take people back to their vehicles when the bus is not available.

Packet Pickup & Merchandise High Priority

This role requires more technical understanding and comfort with computers and tablets. Please do not volunteer for this position if you are less technically inclined. Volunteers for this position will be vetted. Due to the importance of this role, we will be offering additional benefits.
