Sunday, June 7th, I’ll be riding in my 8th American Cancer Society Bike-A-Thon (a 67 mile ride from Philly to Ventnor, NJ) to raise funds for cancer research and patient support — a cause that’s deeply personal to me.

I ride in honor of my mom, who passed away from lung cancer in 1990 at just 45 years old. This year marks the 36th anniversary of her passing. I also ride in honor of my dad, a prostate cancer survivor who later lost his battle with neuroendocrine colon cancer in 2023. In addition, I ride for countless other family and friends that have either been diagnosed with cancer or are caregivers supporting someone with cancer.
