Why I support the American Cancer Society:

Cancer has touched too many people I know and love, which is why I’ve joined the American Cancer Society to make a difference. By supporting this important work, I’m celebrating cancer survivors, honoring those we've lost, and raising critical funds to help end cancer as we know it, for ever.

My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 53. He survived for 12 years but not without many other health complications.

My cousin Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer at 38 and is currently a survivor.

I have taken care of a countless number of patients with cancer, and will continue to care for more in my career as long as cancer is a part of our lives. 

By participating in this event, we are raising funds for research, for Hope, for celebrations of more birthdays.
