Swimmers will experience a time-trial start, with long-course athletes setting off first, followed by Sprint athletes approximately 30 minutes later, and Super Sprint athletes another 20 minutes after that.
Starting from the beach, long-course athletes will embark on a U-shaped course, exiting the water after the first loop before heading back in for loop 2. Sprint athletes will have their own U-shaped course, taking them straight out, across 30 meters, and back in for a streamlined swim experience.
Upon completing the swim, all athletes will exit the finish chute on the beach and follow the swim chute up to transition at the parking lot.
Safety is paramount, and lifeguards will be stationed on ocean rescue boards and wave runners throughout the course. Athletes may hang on to a board or waverunner for support as needed but must remain stationary. If you choose to be extracted from the water, your race will conclude at that point. However, if medical clearance is given, you may opt to continue the bike and run segments after turning in your timing chip/strap.

WETSUIT RENTAL
For those in need of a wetsuit, rentals are available for $50, including full, sleeveless, or shorty options.
To ensure your wetsuit is pulled at the warehouse and brought to the event. Please make your reservation on or before the Tuesday before the event. This can be done at our online store at the above link. Your reservation is held with a $10 non-refundable deposit which does apply to the total cost of your wetsuit rental. The remainder is paid upon pickup of your wetsuit at the event. ($40 cash ONLY)
